What are your spiritual gifts?

Hi all:

The subject of spiritual gifts recently came up in one of the e-mail lists I'm on. I love this subject 'cause it gets deep to the heart of those meaty existential questions like:

  • Who am I?
  • What is my purpose in life?
  • What am I here for?
  • What does it all mean?
You know, chit chat like that!

Anyhoo, I found some nifty online tools for people to use to help them figure out their own spiritual gifts.

First of all, here's a Biblical overview of spiritual gifts by Gene Wilkes, author of Jesus on Leadership. And here's the 5-page pdf survey based on his and other books. This one is not interactive, so it requires you to print it out to answer the questions and graph your spiritual gifts. Both these resources are free and provided by
If you want to do an online survey of your spiritual gifts, try this one, which is sponsored by

It includes surveys for individual gifts and group gifts, such as for churches, small groups, mission teams, etc. After you take the survey, it gives you a 4- or 5-page summary of your gifts. Check it out here. It's free!

Here's another one put out by

This one includes 25 questions and further information about your results. Check it out here. It's also free.

That should get you started. I want to take them, too, to see if my gifts have changed from when I did it years ago. Actually, I don't even remember what my results were back then.

I'll let ya' know how my results turn out. Feel free to share yours, too. For example, any surprise gifts?

Enjoy!
