Mark Schultz Review at Infuze

Hi all:

My review of Mark Schultz's new CD Broken and Beautiful is now online at Infuze.

Here's CBD's write-up:

CD57024: Broken & Beautiful, Compact Disc [CD]Broken & Beautiful, Compact Disc [CD]

By Mark Schultz / Word Entertainment, Inc.

Singer, songwriter, and storyteller Mark Schultz returns with a poignant and personal collection of new songs, ranging from powerful ballads to uptempo AC-pop. Broken & Beautiful includes "40 Days," "Until I See You Again," the radio hit title track, and more.

Here's how my review begins:

Mark Schultz's Broken and Beautiful is tailor-made for both Christian and country radio. Alternating between Christian anthems that will inspire believers and narrative-driven songs that will engage country listeners, Schultz's new tunes are perfect for these targeted audiences.

Schultz delivers with the radio-ready "She Was Watching," which contains the essential theme that "faith can't be taught, it can only be caught" by our kids as they watch how we live much more than they listen to what we say. "Broken & Beautiful" is a clarion call about what churches can offer when the Church is truly present. And "God of Life" is a straightforward anthem of belief in God.

I'm not completely clear, however, on why "Until I See You Again" is included twice on the disc ...
